Holy Moley....

Well it looks like I will not make a post everyday this year. No way to catch up on as many as I need.... I have been rather busy since August. I work many jobs... FOOL!  NO I really like working and was rather bored being retired. So now I am working in accounting. Guess all that money I invested in my CPA work with finally be used. I enjoy the work, just doing it part time. I am also tutoring, it pays almost as good as when I was a full time teacher. Then the folks across the street needed a babysitter one day because theirs just didn't show up. NO warning. So I told her they could come over. Well they have been coming over ever since. OKAY so I am a fool.  I also am cleaning our church, an easy job as we have a small building. My last job is SWAGBUCKS. Yes it does work. I make between 100 and 125 extra dollars a month just having fun on my computer. So all in all I make about 1000 per month extra in take home. NOT bad pay for the work.

Rachel is at her park ball game. Later this week she leaves for her world series. Good luck.

Ashley is at her world series softball tournament. Hope they do well. She has been asked to play for another time in an older division whose world series is later this week after hers is finished.

Hubby is taking off for a short ride. Hope he has a great time.

Wow....

Wow the church luncheon was great. Had more people at church than normal. Sure was nice. Lots of food.

thinking of ....

Thinking of having a house destruction auction..... NOT ours, but the one we were offered if we would pay to have it torn down. We went inside and their is lots of hard wood flooring, trim, beautiful staircase and more. It would be terrible not to recycle the good stuff.

TV

I am getting very bored with TV. There are only a few shows even worth watching. There are too many reality shows.... Most of these are very bored and most of them seem to have the same type of theme. I also do not like watching the repo ones.... Why in the world would you want to show shows about people down on their luck..... to make yourself feel better. I have never had respect for repo people and credit collectors. They are low life people with no job skills or education.

Softball....

Softball is almost over. It has been a long summer with all of the sports that go on around here. World series is next week.

Can not believe....

I can not believe how fast this month is going. It is school time almost. I am so glad I am not teaching any more. We use to say.... after the 4th of July the summer just flies by. And it is.

What?

Okay the republicans want to cut welfare, then why are they closing abortion clinics... don't they know that the population of children not wanted is going to grow.... I am not for abortions, however I am for the right to choice. That is freedom. What are they going to do next... NO EDUCATION FOR FEMALES~ that's the way it was ~ Let's start thinking about children~ if they are not wanted, they will not be nurtured by the mother and probably no father around.  So it is a no win situation because those unwanted children will be kept to collect money from the government and the attitude I gave birth so no one else is going to get them~ they will grow with hate in their hearts~ they will be the ones that end in prison!  Are we really so uncaring. I can understand if they want to give them up for adoption, that they feel love for them, that they are not angry because they were raped or "a mistake." Carry the child with love and give them a chance.
I have observed over the years that adopted children many times turn out just like the birth parent~ loving homes cannot always change how someone will turn out as they grow.
Please republicans, stop with all your bulling of females... Do something right for this country, not stupid.

Wow it is the 10th of July already. The girls have one month of vacation left.

I need to...

I need to get out and work in the back yard bad! Off here and do it while it is beautiful outside.

I hope to write a book some day. I think the only thing that keeps me from doing it is the fear of failure.

My husband is watching something about Star Trek... TV is pretty boring.

Severe storms

Serve storms seem to be going around us. In the winter they go around, in the spring they go around.... Mom says it's because we are in a "bowl." Guess the Indians knew this was a great place to live.

I am thinking and trying to figure out how to get my craft things organized so they don't take up so much space. Hmmmmm thinking, thinking..... ideas?

A friend..

A long time friend is having some health problems. He went in for a minor surgery, out patient, and now he has a bad infection. Prayers for him.

I am ready....

I am ready to start remodeling this house. I want some different colors.... Need a change sometimes.

Today...

Today someone at church asked if we could write an article about our new minister for the newspaper. I will check, but I believe we can. She has even offered to help with the newsletter. She said she loves what I have done and is willing to help me write all of the articles that I have to each month. I love the fact that someone else wants to get involved!

Poor Miss K...

Poor Miss K... her aunt Casi gave her a Barney doll that her boys had... now she has to carry Lizzie and Barney. She is going to be worn out soon.

Holy smoly have we had a lot of rain. Okay we are out of the drought.... now we are having flooding. Need heat and sun so the crops will grow.

Red, white and blue....

Today at church they had a dinner ~theme Red, White and Blue. Normally most people don't stay for the dinners. This Sunday all but one person stayed. Ran out of food.... Does that say something about the congregation? Thanks all for making this a wonderful meal.

New preacher.....

We have a new preacher at church. All individual are welcome to come and meet our new preacher. His name is Nathan and he is still in seminar school.... Hopefully he will be what this church needs.

3rd trip...

Well we made our 3rd trip to Indiana Beach. I will post some pictures soon.

Sewing....

My sister purchased a new sewing machine.... she has found how much fun sewing can be ... Ashley is getting her old machine. She can't wait!

I have been working on Christmas presents. I have one almost done.

I have been working on my picture files. I have a few duplicates. I am also trying to get everything labeled. Also I need to get all of the grave markers named so I can be more organized with them.

Ashley and Rachel have wanted a dog for awhile. Grandpa broke down, took Ashley and picked out Dexter...

 And it was nap time. Grandpa and Grandma took her on the boat ride... We were hardly out of the docks when she feel sound asleep. She slept at least one hour. Nice nap.

I have noticed

Going through these pictures I have noticed how much older Devon looks. He was so good with Katelyn, she will miss him if he is not at Indiana Beach with her.

Since I have been doing the cemetery research I have lost 4 pounds... woo hoo.

Need to...

I need to get busy on a friend of mine's family history. It seems they have discovered his cancer has returned. I will be busy working on both his wife's and his family history for the next few weeks. I also need to go get pictures of his family's markers. >>>> busy busy... But I love it!

I have....

I have been walking up at the one cemetery finding grave markers for people. There were over 100 requests when I started 3 days ago. I had it down to 52 and then another request came in... Will I ever find them all?
