FOUND

Found are two of grandchildren that we have not been able to find in twenty years. Let me explain. Our daughter, who has passed away, had three children. One of which we have never met.  The other two we have met and spent some time with. Living 500 miles from them it was hard when their parents divorced and their father had custody. Patty took of to another state and left her children behind. Her life was not pleasant and she became one of the lost souls. She had a third child with a man we don't know who he is. This daughter is being raised by a family as theirs. She was married to a man, but he is not the father. His parents are raising her. Well I am so glad that through facebook our one granddaughter and us have reconnected. Our grandson was too young to remember us, and is angry that we were not a part of his life. Well we searched every time we were in the area they lived. However they had moved between the divorce time and the last time we had seen them. Our lawyer did get us visitation, however too common last name and there were no listings for him. We searched and searched. Now we are in the process of reconnecting with our granddaughter who had also been searching for us. So glad we are able to at least get to get to know her and her son.

Just how....

Just how do you get someone to get organized when they absolutely refuse to? I can't take messes and neither can my husband.

I am thinking....

I am thinking my husband thinks I need to sit for my CPA exam.... He keeps asking if I am going to.... I don't know... I already have retired from my job of 34 years... why would I go back to full time working.... besides if I did go get it, we would have to move someplace else to make any "real" money.

Arkansas trip .... I am getting ready to start Casi's family scrapbook of the trip....of course Austin is the only one to find a diamond....

time to start...

Time to start working on my family history again.... Have so many questions.... Need to get mom to talk more.... take the pictures I have an show them to her. Maybe that well get her to talking.....
I have also been contacted by two "new" relatives on my dad's dad's side and one on his mother's side.... wow... I wish I could add so much more to it... especially on mom's side since her heritage in the US is very short....

Made a .....

I made a key lime pie last night. I offered some to my husband, he said he would wait til a little later. I offered a taste of mine... He said, "YUMMMMMM!" ....well he ate the whole slice.... I had to go make me another slice.... LOL

OKAY.....

OKAY I have been cooped up long enough. Winter go away. I can't wait until spring weather gets here... I don't want the hot summer stuff... the comfortable weather is what I want.

My Mom

My Mom is 95. She has been in good health most of that 95 years. Lately though I am getting worried. Prayers to keep her safe.
