Laundry does it ever stop!?!
It seems like I do about 100 loads a week.

Waiting for some good weather. I do find a grave stuff and I need to go see if I can find some of these graves that people are requesting.
I need the exercise too after this long winter.

Been to Tennessee

We went to Tennessee for my husband's sister's funeral. We went over to Pigeon Forge the day after the services. We were going to head home on Monday.... ice kept us there an extra day.
I will post some pictures soon. Unfortunately I forgot my camera the day of the funeral... everyone was like.... YOU FORGOT YOUR CAMERA! so out of character for me. .

Virginia passed...

My husband's lovely sister Virginia has passed away. It was a very sad ending to a woman who was so full of life. Her giggles and snorting will truly be missed by all.
The last few years of her life have been a medical challenge. May she rest in peace.

Rachel and Ashley had to sell raffle tickets for school.... they are all sold! woop woop.


A grandchild we have not seen or even knew where she was has found us.. WOOP! WOOP! Her brother has only said hi. Our search for the missing grandchildren is done!


Long story: but divorce can cause strange things to happen and some people to act in "stupid" ways.


We are just so happy to have them back in our lives.


Our anniversary is just a few days away.... 39 years....

We had gone to Tennessee... Everyone came to the hotel to swim....  Remember blast from the past photos really need to be photoshopped to make them look better... Most of them have been looked through many, many times and hung and framed and well just plan ole enjoyed.

I really need to get this caught up. So much has happened in the past week.... Well past few months.

HEY What is going on with this weather............!

Today's weather is crazy. It is a mix of rain, sleet and snow... Lots of wind...
Not a good day for anything.... Well off to work. Write the checks, balance those books and maybe get some work done.... financial reports need looking over for the audit.... oh boy. I already did a soft audit... so now I just need to make sure ... It has to be perfect.... LOL

My cousin Susan is going to be a grandma again. Her oldest grandson was a twin, his sister passed shortly after birth.... 7 grandsons and once again she will be having a granddaughter. We will never forget the short life of Jessica, and now a girl to spoil rotten.....
You know no matter how you say it... it just doesn't come out right.

I am getting pretty good at doing the swagbucks thing. I am cashing in about $100 per month. Wow! This money all goes into my emergency fund. Maybe it will  become my vacation fund...

Let it snow....

Okay we are inside having wind chill value of -39 right now. There are schools closing for tomorrow already. With the wind it is hard to keep roads open. Artic plug is hitting us hard. I asked my husband if he was sure he wanted to retire in Alaska. Not me. I love where I live. I like to have a little winter, but not like in Alaska.
I am busy working on my swagbucks, family history and wanting to do a little scrapbooking.
It is so cold that most of the factories have closed. People just can't get to work.

Okay ....

snow, wind.....

Yes we are getting snow.... lots of wind and not as windy as it will be. All schools have closed, libraries and even the mall. So stay safe my friends. I think I will bake cookies and candies. Make the cheese ball and celebrate no school or work tomorrow.

Miss K loved her drum, doll house and everything else she got. We played everyday with them.

Today

I have to earn more money. I am working too many jobs, however I just can't seem to get ahead. Selling the house in Oakwood is one way of doing it. Or getting some real renters in there.

New Year, New Beginning

I have resolved that I am selling one of the houses, the one in Oakwood. Let it be known that it is now up for sale. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, dining, living room, large shed, and a studio unattached. email for information.

Holy Moley....

Well it looks like I will not make a post everyday this year. No way to catch up on as many as I need.... I have been rather busy since August. I work many jobs... FOOL!  NO I really like working and was rather bored being retired. So now I am working in accounting. Guess all that money I invested in my CPA work with finally be used. I enjoy the work, just doing it part time. I am also tutoring, it pays almost as good as when I was a full time teacher. Then the folks across the street needed a babysitter one day because theirs just didn't show up. NO warning. So I told her they could come over. Well they have been coming over ever since. OKAY so I am a fool.  I also am cleaning our church, an easy job as we have a small building. My last job is SWAGBUCKS. Yes it does work. I make between 100 and 125 extra dollars a month just having fun on my computer. So all in all I make about 1000 per month extra in take home. NOT bad pay for the work.
